Connect to the inlets on the side. Where winter freezes are expected, install an optional heater on the inlet below.

When connecting inlet, connect BY-PASS in advance to help maintenance.
If the inlet has strong vibration of the reciprocating compressor, make sure that the material of the connecting inlet is made of a flexible hose, etc. so that the vibration is not transmitted to the trap.

Turbotrap, our auto trap, must be equipped with the same pressure line as the inlet to ensure condensate inflow. Install the balance tube using a flexible pneumatic hose (less than 8mm) with the same pressure from the inlet. The pressure shall be equal to the inlet and connected to a level higher than the lower level of condensate collection(gauge of the tank, etc.).


If the balance tube is not installed, it can not be operated because condensate is not introduced into the trap (click here for air lock phenomenon).

However, if you have difficulty in getting the pressure equal to the inlet pressure, use an air bent instead of the balance tube.

Our Turbotrap, condensate drain valve, also requires instrument air to actuate the cylinder. The pressure is the same as the inlet and the air quality must be as dry and clean as possible. See the installation video above.


Using wet or contaminated air is not a guarantee of quality.

When installing our Turbotrap, condensate drain valve, on the oil free multi stage compressor or turbo compressor intercooler, install a swing check valve in front of the trap to prevent the condensate in the trap from flowing back to the intercooler.
